yavane tomāra ṭhāñi karaye lāgāni
tāṅra hiṁsāya lābha nāhi, haya āra hāni
Synonyms
yavane—your Muslim servant; tomara—your; thani—place; karaye—does; lāgāni—instigation; tanra—of Him; himsaya—to become jealous; labha nahi—there is no profit; haya—there is; ara—rather; hāni—loss. ¶
Translation
Keśava Chatrī said, “Out of jealousy your Muslim servant plots against Him. I think that you should not be very interested in Him, for there is no profit in it. Rather, there is simply loss.” ¶
