gaṅgā-mṛttikā āni’ vastrete chāniyā
pāṅpaḍi kariyā dilā gandha-dravya diyā

Synonyms

ganga-mṛttikā—dirt from the River Ganges; ani—bringing; vastrete—through a cloth; chāniyā—pressing; pāṅpaḍi kariya dila—made into small balls; gandha-dravya diyā—mixing with aromatic agents. 

Translation

Damayantī took earth from the Ganges, dried it, powdered it, strained it through a fine cloth, mixed in aromatic ingredients and rolled it into small balls.
