daṇḍa-paraṇāma kari’ bhaṭṭa paḍilā caraṇe
prabhu ‘raghunātha’ jāni kailā āliṅgane

danda-paraṇāma kari—offering obeisances by falling down on the ground; bhaṭṭa—Raghunātha Bhaṭṭa; padila carane—fell at the lotus feet; prabhu—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; raghunātha—Raghunātha Bhaṭṭa; jani—knowing; kaila āliṅgane—embraced. ¶
Translation
Raghunātha Bhaṭṭa fell straight as a rod at the lotus feet of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Then the Lord embraced him, knowing well who he was. ¶
