ṣoḍaśe—kālidāse prabhu kṛpā karilā
vaiṣṇavocchiṣṭa khāibāra phala dekhāilā

ṣoḍaśe—in the Sixteenth Chapter; kali-dase—unto Kālidāsa; prabhu—Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu; krpa karila—showed favor; vaiṣṇava-ucchista khāibāra—of eating the remnants of food left by Vaiṣṇavas; phala dekhaila—showed the result. ¶
Translation
The Sixteenth Chapter tells how Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu showed His mercy to Kālidāsa and thus demonstrated the result of eating the remnants of the food of Vaiṣṇavas. ¶
