eta bali’ paḍe prabhu tāṅra kṛta śloka
yei śloka-candre jagat karyāche āloka

eta bali—saying this; pade—reads; prabhu—Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu; tanra—by Mādhavendra Purī; krta—composed; śloka—verse; yei—that; śloka-candre—by the moonlike verse; jagat—all over the world; karyāche—produced; aloka—light. ¶
Translation
After saying this, Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu read the famous verse of Mādhavendra Purī. That verse is just like the moon. It has spread illumination all over the world. ¶
