śrī-bhagavān uvāca
hanta brahmann aho śambho
he devā mama bhāṣitam
śṛṇutāvahitāḥ sarve
śreyo vaḥ syād yathā surāḥ
Synonyms
sri-bhagavan uvāca—the Supreme Personality of Godhead said; hanta—addressing them; brahman aho—O Lord Brahmā; śambho—O Lord Śiva; he—O; devah—demigods; Mama—My; bhasitam—statement; śṛṇuta—hear; avahitah—with great attention; sarve—all of you; sreyah—good fortune; vah—for all of you; syāt—shall be; yathā—as; surah—for the demigods. ¶
Translation
The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: O Lord Brahmā, Lord Śiva and other demigods, please hear Me with great attention, for what I say will bring good fortune for all of you. ¶
